Abstract

The invention discloses application of an antioxidant in-vitro maturation of animal oocytes. A method for improving the in-vitro maturation of the animal oocytes, provided by the invention, comprisesthe step of adding idebenone into an in-vitro maturation solution of the animal oocytes. The invention further provides the application of the idebenone in improvement of the in-vitro maturation of the animal oocytes. Specifically, the concentration of the idebenone in the in-vitro maturation solution of the animal oocytes is 10 to 30 microns, and more specifically, the concentration can be 20 microns. According to the method, in-vitro culture conditions of the oocytes are optimized, and the embryonic development capacity of the oocytes is improved. The method is simple and feasible, and materials are convenient to obtain, so that the method has an important application value.
