The invention discloses a video teaching system and method based on VR interaction. The system comprises the following parts of a video teaching terminal, VR interaction equipment, a teaching monitoring terminal, and a processing server; the video teaching terminal obtains the actions and voices of a teacher in the teaching process; the teaching monitoring terminal obtains the actions and voices of students in the learning process; and the processing server receives the action and voice data of the teacher and the students, performs standard processing on the data and feeds back the data to the VR interaction equipment. According to the system and the method, during teaching, the students can perform imitation learning according to images in a VR helmet display screen, action videos of thestudents can be sent to the processing server to be processed in the learning process, so that the action videos of the students are converted into joint point position dynamic graphs, and the jointpoint position dynamic graphs of the students can be compared with joint point position dynamic graphs of the teacher; and therefore, the VR remote teaching function of sport and exercise teaching isrealized, and the learning efficiency of the students can be greatly improved in the process.
