Abstract

The invention discloses a satellite-borne image processor for remote sensing image target characteristic recognition. The satellite-borne image processor comprises a first image processing unit, an interface module and a power conversion module, the first image processing unit comprises an operation module and a storage module; the storage module is used for storing real-time remote sensing imagedata and base map data of the to-be-detected area; the operation module comprises an FPGA module and a DSP module which are electrically connected with the storage module. The FPGA module is communicated with the DSP module through an EMIF bus. The FPGA module is used for receiving and outputting real-time remote sensing image data of a to-be-detected area; and the DSP module is used for carryingout target detection, feature extraction and positioning calculation on the remote sensing image data output by the FPGA module. The method has the characteristics of low power consumption and high detection efficiency, and can adapt to severe satellite environments.
