A specific embodiment of the method comprises the steps of obtaining an image of a to-be-tested document comprising a table; inputting the image of the to-be-detected document into a trained key point detection model to obtain key point information, output by thekey point detection model, of a table of the to-be-detected document, the key point information representing positions of at least two preset key points, associated with the document orientation, ofthe table in the to-be-detected document; and determining the orientation of the to-be-tested document based on the key point information of the table of the to-be-tested document. According to the embodiment, the document orientation can be accurately and efficiently detected.
