Embodiment

[0019] 1. Material preparation

[0020] 1. Plastic greenhouse

[0021] 2. Raw materials: rootstock variety "Golden Passion Fruit" cutting seedlings, scion variety purple passion fruit "Tai Nong No. 2, Tai Nong No. 9" robust one-year-old branches; splitting knives, sharp knives, plastic expansion hoses.

[0022] 2. Operation steps

[0023] The first step: choose steel-frame plastic greenhouses for grafting and raising seedlings, which can adapt to the climate of Shanghai and prevent losses caused by natural disasters such as typhoons and storms.

[0024] The second step: species selection. The disease-resistant variety "Golden Passion Fruit" was selected as the rootstock. The high-quality, high-yielding and poorly disease-resistant purplish-red fruits "Tainong No. 2 and Tainong No. 9" were selected as scions.

[0025] The third step: cutting seedlings of rootstocks of disease-resistant varieties. Cut off the semi-lignified new branches that germinated in the spring of that...

Abstract

The invention discloses an efficient cutting and grafting breeding method for passifolra edulis seedlings. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of selecting a disease-resistant variety''golden passifolra edulis'' as a rootstock, and purple red fruits ''Tainong 2 and Tainong 9'' as scions; cutting out semi-lignified new shoots sprouting in spring and cutting the new shoots into cuttings; dipping bases of the cuttings into rooting powder, then straightly inserting the cuttings into a substrate, and thoroughly watering the cuttings with clear water after inserting; adopting a cleft grafting method during scion grafting; prizing the rootstock, inserting the scions and tightly attaching the scions to the rootstock; and then moving a plastic expansion hose at the lower end of therootstock upwards to cover the rootstock and the scions, and sealing one half of the whole rootstock-scion part, wherein the plastic expansion hose expands along with growing and thickening of the rootstock and the scions, and can automatically expand and crack after the rootstock and the scions completely heal and survive after being grafted, thereby indicating that grafted seedlings are successfully bred. According to the efficient cutting and grafting breeding method, grafting breeding of the seedlings is carried out by adopting a yellow fruit variety resistant to root rot as the rootstockand a high-quality purple red fruit variety as the scions, so that the targets that the seedlings are disease-resistant, high in quality and high in yield are achieved, and high yield and high quality are achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a high-efficiency cutting and grafting breeding method for passion fruit seedlings, which belongs to the breeding technology of improved crop varieties. Background technique [0002] Passion fruit, also known as egg fruit, belongs to the evergreen vine of Passiflora genus Passiflora, about 6 meters long; the stem has thin stripes and is glabrous; the petals are 5, as long as the sepals; the base is light green, and the middle is purple , top white, berry ovoid, 3-4cm in diameter, glabrous, purple or yellow when ripe; many seeds, ovate. Flowering in June, fruiting in November. Distributed in tropical and subtropical regions, there are mainly two types of purple fruit and yellow fruit. The fruit can be eaten raw or used as vegetables and fodder. The pulp is juicy, and the seeds can be squeezed for oil, which can be used for food and making soap and paint. The flowers are large and beautiful, and can also be used as garden orna...
