Abstract

The device comprises an additiverobot, a welding gun head, a connecting mechanism and a nozzle; the additive robot is used for additive manufacturing, the welding gun head is arranged at the head of the additive robot, the nozzle is connected with a liquid nitrogen guide pipe, the nozzle is connected with the welding gun head through the connecting mechanism, and thus when the welding gun moves, the nozzle moves along with thewelding gun for cooling. According to the liquid nitrogen follow-up cooling additive manufacturing device and the method, heat accumulated in the additive manufacturing process can be effectively dissipated, residual stress and deformation caused by excessive heat input are reduced, and the forming quality and the mechanical performance are improved. Aiming at oxidation possibly occurring in the metal additive manufacturing process and in the process that liquid nitrogen is adopted as a cooling medium for cooling, the oxidation problem in the additive manufacturing process can be avoided whilecooling is conducted.
