Abstract

The invention discloses an ecological planting method for interplanting herba capsellae in a peach orchard. The method comprises the following steps: (1) land preparation: selecting a well-drained sandy-loam peach orchard with a peach tree spacing of 5m, excavating dead furrows with the width of 35cm to 40cm and the depth of 40cm to 50cm among the peach trees, and applying 2,000kg / hm<2> of organicfertilizer and 1,000kg / hm<2> of three-element compound fertilizer into the dead furrows; (2) sowing: selecting a small-leaf herba capsellae variety, sequentially excavating six rows in each side of soil between the peach trees and each dead furrow in a manner that each row has a length of 25cm, and sowing 1kg to 1.5kg of seeds per 667m<2> in early march in a manner that full contact between the herba capsellae seeds and the soil is guaranteed; (3) fertilizer and water management: carrying out seedling emergence 5 to 7 days after sowing under normal conditions, and watering a proper volume ofwater after seedling emergence to guarantee soil moist; (4) plant disease, insect pest and weed control: employing pymetrozine and imidacloprid pesticides to control aphids of the herba capsellae; (5)in-time picking: carrying out picking when the number of true leaves is 10 to 13; and (6) reserving seeds in last batch of harvesting of the herba capsellae; dispelling ladybirds, lacewings and minute pirate bugs to the peach trees, so as to control peach aphid pests; and crushing the remaining herba capsellae with a rotary tiller, and then, carrying out deep tillage for direct field returning, so as to improve a soil structure of the peach orchard and increase organic matter supply.
