Abstract

The invention discloses a virtual machine high availability method, device and equipment, and the method comprises the steps: generating a virtual machine evacuation request for each fault node when afault of a node in a cluster is monitored; determining resource requirements corresponding to the virtual machine evacuation requests one by one; judging whether the available resources in the cluster meet the resource demand corresponding to the current virtual machine evacuation request or not: if so, determining a target migration node corresponding to the current virtual machine evacuation request and a corresponding resource to be used according to the resource demand, migrating the virtual machine on the corresponding fault node to the target migration node, and then performing a corresponding virtual machine recovery operation on the target migration node, or else, fusing the virtual machine evacuation request. Thus, the situation that resource competition is generated when the virtual machines on the fault nodes are evacuated can be avoided, the evacuation request is fused in time when available resources in the cluster are insufficient, and therefore, the stability of the system is guaranteed.
