Abstract

The invention provides a supercritical carbon dioxide circulating power generation system and method. The system comprises a generator assembly and a circulating assembly connected with the generatorassembly. The circulating assembly comprises a first cooling unit, a compression unit, a first heating unit and a turbine unit which are sequentially connected. The compression unit comprises at leasttwo compressors and at least one second cooling unit. The adjacent compressors are connected through the second cooling units. The first compressor is connected with the first cooling unit, and the last compressor is connected with the first heating unit. The cooling unit is used for cooling carbon dioxide entering the compressors so that the carbon dioxide entering each compressor can have the same temperature. The turbine unit is connected with the generator assembly. The turbine unit is further connected with the first cooling unit so that the carbon dioxide heated by the first heating unit can do work through the turbine unit and is exhausted to the first cooling unit. By the adoption of the supercritical carbon dioxide circulating power generation system, the heat return range of thecirculation is enlarged, and the circulating heat efficiency is improved.
