In addition, the scirpusin A is an effective component of a traditional Chinese medicine namely rhizoma spargani, is extensive in sources, safe and low in toxicity, provides a new selection and powerful basis for development of natural medicines for resisting the stroke, and has wide development space and favorable application prospects.
