According to the characterization method, the material surface shape and thematerial distribution matrix information are accurately characterized, so that a material surface shape characterization reference is provided for an operator in an upper adjustment process, the material distribution system is facilitated to be accurately and timely adjusted, the gas flow distribution is improved, and stable and smooth blast furnace production is realized.
