The method comprises the steps of: surveying the surrounding environment of an advancing tunnel andsketching the geology; surveying the advancing tunnel by a geophysical prospecting method to determine an unfavorable geological section; acquiring and confirming unfavorable geological data of the to-be-advanced tunnel area by an advanced drilling method; and, performing the advanced prediction of the unfavorable geology. The geophysical prospecting method comprises a seismic wave reflection method, an infrared detection method and a geological radar detection method. After surveying the surrounding environment and sketching the geology, the blasthole position, the search angle and the tuning angle are determined; the geology of the total length of the advancing tunnel is surveyed by the seismic wave reflection method, so as to determine the suspicious section of the unfavorable geology;and at the same time, the initial geological data of the suspicious section of the unfavorable geology is acquired by the infrared detection method and the geological radar detection method, so as todetermine the unfavorable geological section.
