Problems solved by technology

However, with the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, there are more and more networked devices. When a large number of IoT devices are connected to the Internet at the same time, it may cause a large amount of network resources (such as bandwidth, storage space, and CPU computing power). Consumption makes cloud computing (Cloud Computing) face challenges

Embodiment Construction

[0027] During the transmission process of the server through the network, when the communication device detects that a new work request needs to be executed, the present invention proposes a dynamic work transfer method, so that the server can The characteristics, requirements and network resources of the network are used to reconfigure the network nodes that handle the work of specific restrictions, to achieve the purpose of optimizing the use of dynamic resources, and to improve the overall computing and transmission performance of the network.

[0028] figure 1 is a block diagram of a server 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the server 100 is suitable for being a cloud node under the cloud and edge computing architecture, and includes a communication device 110 , a storage device 120 and a processor 130 . Wherein, the communication device 110 may be connected to the network, so as to communicate with multiple edge nodes in the net...

Abstract

A method and a server for dynamic work transfer are provided. The method includes following steps: regularly collecting and recording network resources of multiple nodes including a cloud node and multiple edge nodes in a network; receiving a request of a first job at a first time point, calculating a cost for configuring the first job to each node according to the network resource of each node atthe first time point, and configuring the first job to a first target node; receiving a request of a second job at a second time point, calculating a cost for configuring the second job to each nodeaccording to the network resource of each node at the first time point, and determining a second target node suitable for configuring the second job and whether to transfer the first job; and accordingly configuring the second job and maintaining or transferring the first job.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a work transfer method and device, and in particular to a dynamic work transfer method and server. Background technique [0002] In the past ten years, due to the development of network technology and the rise of the cloud service industry, a large number of diversified information application services have been provided. However, with the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, there are more and more networked devices. When a large number of IoT devices are connected to the Internet at the same time, it may cause a large amount of network resources (such as bandwidth, storage space, and CPU computing power). Consumption makes cloud computing (Cloud Computing) face challenges. [0003] Edge computing (Edge Computing) was proposed to reduce the burden of cloud computing. In detail, edge computing is a concept of near-by computing, where computing can be performed closer to the local area where the data source...
