Abstract

The invention discloses a wall-penetrating electrical connector for an underwater external pressure container and a using method thereof. The wall-penetrating electrical connector comprises a connector cylinder and a flange; the connector cylinder is of a hollow structure, one end of the connector cylinder is fixedly provided with the flange, and the other end of the connector cylinder is providedwith an external thread; the root part of the end surface of the flange, which is used for contacting with the external pressure container, is provided with a sealing device; the inner cavity of theconnector cylinder is of a through structure, and a partition plate is fixedly arranged on the inner wall of the inner cavity; a plurality of wire through holes are processed on the partition plate, and plate-penetrating wires are arranged in the wire through holes; an insulating layer is arranged between the plate-penetrating wire and the wire through hole; two ends of the plate-penetrating wireare respectively connected with the outer guide wire and the inner guide wire; and the hollow cavities are filled with insulating materials. The wall-penetrating electrical connector is suitable for an external pressure container working underwater, can ensure normal electrical connection inside and outside the external pressure container, and has good electrical insulation performance, sealing performance and high pressure resistance.
