Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for implementing a two-way closed-loop resonant optical gyro based on sinusoidal-bipolar sawtooth wave phase modulation. The device provided by the invention comprises a first loop sine wave modulation signal generating module and a second loop bipolar sawtooth wave modulation signal generating module. According to the invention, two phase modulators are used to realize two-way closed loop, which is more conducive to system miniaturization and reciprocity than a sinusoidal-sawtooth wave modulation scheme using three phase modulators; sinusoidal wave modulation is used in the first loop, and slope-controllable bipolar sawtooth wave modulation is used only in the second loop; compared with bipolar sawtooth wave modulation and triangular-sawtoothwave modulation schemes, the method and the device are move conductive to reducing impulse noise; in particular compared with a triangular-sawtooth wave modulation scheme, the method and the device donot need to superimpose two modulated signals on the same phase modulator, and have the advantage of simpler circuit implementation; and a method for suppressing backscattered noise caused by frequency spectrum overlapping is provided according to the result of frequency spectrum analysis.
