The method comprises the following steps of determining the parameters influencing the cutterhead torque; determiningthe dimensionless quantity and the dimensionless cutterhead torque in the TBM tunneling process according to the parameters; obtaining a coefficient identification result of the dimensionless quantityby adopting an elastic network algorithm according to the dimensionless quantity; multiplying each dimensionless quantity coefficient identification result by the corresponding dimensionless quantityto obtain a cutterhead torque calculation model; and determining the TBM cutterhead torque according to the cutterhead torque calculation model. By means of the method or the system, the cutter headtorque in the TBM equipment tunneling process can be rapidly and accurately calculated.
