Abstract

The invention provides a method of recycling copper and cobalt from cobalt containing waste liquid of copper hydrometallurgy. The method comprises the following steps that impurity removal treatment is conducted on the cobalt containing waste liquid to remove impurities in the waste liquid, wherein the impurities comprise one or more of solid particle matter, suspended matter and oil matter; the impurity-removed cobalt containing waste liquid is concentrated and separated through a nanofiltration device, and thus a concentrated solution with the concentration increased and dialysate with the concentration decreased are obtained; copper chemical extraction treatment is conducted on the concentrated solution to form a copper-enriched solution and cobalt containing raffinate; neutralization impurity removal treatment is conducted on the cobalt containing raffinate to at least partially remove other metal ions except the cobalt; and chemical precipitation treatment is conducted on the cobalt containing raffinate subjected to neutralization impurity removal to recycle the cobalt. The method of recycling the copper and the cobalt from the cobalt containing waste liquid of copper hydrometallurgy improves the cobalt recycle rate.
