Problems solved by technology

[0004] However, for how to control the pore water saturation, how to test the frost heave pressure, and how to calculate the energy dissipation in the freezing and thawing of porous asphalt mixture, there is currently no uniform standard method in various countries, resulting in the relationship between the frost heaving stress and the frozen volume of porous asphalt mixture. No in-depth analysis has been carried out on the expansion relationship, the influence of the cooling rate on the frost heave stress during freezing, the influence of the mixture void ratio and pore water content on the freeze-thaw dissipation energy, etc.

Embodiment 1

[0058] The test method for frost heave stress of porous asphalt mixture with controllable pore water saturation will be illustrated by examples below. The porous asphalt mixture to be evaluated in the examples is OGFC-13, and its gradation, asphalt content BC, and void ratio VV are shown in Table 1.

[0059] The OGFC-13 that the embodiment of table 1 adopts

[0060]

[0061] (1) Preparation of Marshall specimens of aqueous porous mixture

[0062] According to Table 1, the porous mixture Marshall test piece is graded, hereinafter referred to as the test piece, and it is demoulded after being stored at room temperature for 24 hours. The diameter of the porous mixture Marshall test piece is measured by a vernier caliper to be 101.6 mm, and the height is 63.5 mm. The volume V of the material Marshall specimen is 514.81cm 3 .

[0063] Use paraffin wax to seal the bottom surface and side pores of the porous mixture Marshall specimen. After the paraffin wax is dried, use an ele...

Abstract

The invention discloses a testing method of freeze-thaw resistance performance of an unsaturated porous asphalt mixture and a testing method of frost heaving strain. The method comprises the followingfour parts: control of porous asphalt mixture saturability, testing of frost heaving stress, testing of frost heaving residual strain, and calculating of freeze-thaw dissipated energy. Relative freeze-thaw dissipated energy is calculated through the area of a triangle formed by an original point in a two-dimensional rectangular coordinate system formed by stress and strain, a point of a ratio offrost heaving stress peak to tensile strength, and a point of a ratio of residual frost heaving stress to tensile fracture strain within a freeze-thaw cycle. The method can quantificationally evaluatethe freeze-thaw resistance performance of the porous asphalt mixture at any saturability by using relative freeze-thaw dissipated energy, and provides an analysis means for optimization of the porousasphalt mixture in cold regions.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of durability evaluation of porous asphalt pavement, and in particular relates to a test method for the freeze-thaw resistance performance of unsaturated porous asphalt mixture and a test device for frost heaving strain. Background technique [0002] With the development of transportation, densely graded asphalt mixture AC, anti-skid asphalt mixture AK, asphalt macadam AM, asphalt mastic macadam SMA, porous asphalt mixture OGFC, etc. have appeared one after another. Asphalt paved with these mixtures Pavement plays an important role in various periods and grades of highways. Among them, porous asphalt mixture has excellent drainage, noise reduction, anti-skid, anti-glare and decontamination functions, and has been successfully applied in permeable, saturated, drainage and noise-reducing pavements in many countries. However, there are many failure cases. In addition to pore blockage, looseness, difficulty in deicing in...
