Abstract

The citrus insecticide comprises, by weight, 5-10 parts of avermectin, 40-60 parts of a fermentation solution, 3-8 parts of a surfactant, 2-10 parts of an activator and 0-6 parts of soda ash. The citrus insecticide prepared in the invention breaks a limitation that insecticides mainly enter leaves through pores in leaf surfaces,small hydrophilic pores of the stratum corneum of the leaf surfaces and extracellular filaments of leaf cells, so the utilization rate of the citrus insecticide is greatly improved. After insects swallow the leaves which absorb the insecticide, active ingredients in the insecticide directly act on fat bodies and midgut nuclei of insect larvae, are rapidly replicated to cause the death of the larvae, and can induce epidemic diseases in populations by lateral infection and kill pupae and eggs through vertical infection in order to effectively control pest populations and their hazards.
