Abstract

The invention discloses application of 1-MNA (Methylnicotinamide) in preparing a drug for preventing or treating alcoholic fatty liver. Accumulation of liver triglyceride caused by alcohol model dietis reduced by the 1-MNA. Liver injury caused by the alcohol model diet is recovered by the 1-MNA.

Description

(1) Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a new application of 1-MNA (1-methylnicotinamide), that is, the application of 1-MNA in the preparation of drugs for preventing or treating alcoholic fatty liver. (2) Background technology [0002] Alcoholic Liver Disease (ALD) is a fatty liver disease caused by long-term heavy drinking, which can further develop into more serious alcoholic hepatitis, liver fibrosis, liver cirrhosis and even primary liver cancer. Alcoholic cirrhosis accounted for 50 percent of all cirrhotic deaths as of 2010, the study noted.
