Abstract

The invention relates to a method for acquiring channel characteristics. The method comprises the steps as follows: user equipment (UE) acquires quasi co-station configuration information which is used for indicating that at least one channel characteristic in a first antenna port and a second antenna port is quasi co-station, and the first antenna port and the second antenna port are separately corresponding to different carriers; the UE determines that at least one characteristic in the first antenna port and the second antenna port is quasi co-station; and the UE receives signals from the first antenna port or the first antenna port and the second antenna port, and acquires the at least one channel characteristic, which is in quasi co-station with the first antenna port, in the second antenna port. The problems that the channel characteristics of the antenna ports cannot be determined via quasi co-station configuration and quasi co-station configuration is inflexible when some reference signals do not exist in some cells with some carrier are solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to communication technology, in particular to a method for acquiring channel characteristics, user equipment and a base station. Background technique [0002] In the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, the large-scale characteristics of the channel transmitting the signal on the other antenna port can be inferred from the channel transmitting the signal on one antenna port, then these two antenna ports are called quasi Co-site (QCL, Quasi-Co-Location). Among them, the large-scale characteristics of the channel include: delay spread (Delay Spread), Doppler spread (Doppler Spread), Doppler shift (Doppler Shift), average gain (Average Gain) and average delay (Average Delay) one or more of the . [0003] For example, the user equipment (User Equipment, UE) can determine the demodulation reference signal (Demodulation Reference Signal, DM RS) antenna port and a CSI-RS configured by high layer signaling of the same cell accordin...
