Abstract

The invention discloses a method for intelligent identification and early warning of downburst based on radar data. First, the optical flow field of the vertical section of the reflectivity factor is analyzed by the optical flow method, and the law of the evolution of the storm core over time is obtained. Then, the Lagrangian mechanical model is used to perform function fitting on the descending process of the storm core top height. Then, the histogram and Barthel coefficient statistical analysis method are used to match and identify the "positive and negative velocity pair" images in the radial velocity field in the middle layer of the storm core, and a series of threshold judgments are combined to finally realize the intelligent early warning of the downburst. Using this method, potential downbursts can be identified in the early stage of storm core uplift and rapid sinking, and the sinking rate of the storm core and the time to reach near the ground can be estimated, so as to realize the intelligent identification of downbursts , early warning.
