Embodiment 1

[0249] In this embodiment, we introduce a process of initial access and random access based on differential beams in combination with specific system parameter settings. Consider a system operating in the millimeter wave band, both the base station and the user adopt the following Figure 5 , Figure 6 An antenna array based transmission structure is shown.

[0250] in, Figure 5 is the transmitter structure, Figure 6 For the UE structure. Figure 5 In , each link after baseband processing is connected to an antenna array composed of N_st antenna elements through up-conversion and digital-to-analog converter (Digital-to-Analog Converter, DAC), and each antenna in the antenna array is only Phase can be adjusted. By adjusting the phase, the antenna array can form a beam in a suitable direction to complete the beamforming of the millimeter wave system. Figure 6 The UE structure in Figure 5 similar. Each baseband link is connected to an antenna array composed of N_sr an...

Embodiment 2

[0291]This embodiment will introduce the initial access and random access process of using the differential beam scheme on the base station side and the traditional polling scheme on the user equipment under the condition that the reciprocity of antenna array directions on both the base station side and the user equipment side is established. If the number of antenna ports of the base station is 2, one port can transmit and receive beam sequences, and the other port can transmit and receive differential beam sequences; if the number of antenna ports of the base station is greater than or equal to 3, the antenna ports can be arbitrarily divided into two parts, one part is used for transmitting and receiving and beam sequences , the other part transmits and receives differential beam sequences. The system configuration is similar to that of Embodiment 1. Both the base station and the user equipment are equipped with a transmission structure based on an antenna array, and the base...

Embodiment 3

[0328] In this embodiment, a random access procedure based on differential beams is introduced in conjunction with specific system parameter settings. The system configuration is similar to that of the first embodiment, and the base station and the user equipment adopt a transmission structure based on an antenna array. In this embodiment, under the condition that neither the base station side nor the user equipment side has directional reciprocity, the user equipment adopts a differential transmission scheme and the base station adopts a traditional polling scheme for initial access and random access procedures. If the number of antenna ports of the user is 2, one port transmits and receives the beam sequence, and the other port transmits and receives the differential beam sequence; if the number of antenna ports of the user is greater than or equal to 3, the antenna port can be divided into two parts arbitrarily, one part is used for transmitting and receiving and the beam se...

Abstract

The invention provides an initial access and random access method based on multiple antenna ports and multiple beams, base station equipment and user equipment. The initial access and random access method based on multiple antenna ports and multiple beams comprises the following steps: sending, by the base station equipment, a synchronous signal sequence to the user equipment on at least two basestation beams with correlation; receiving a preamble sequence sent by the user equipment on the at least two base station beams with correlation; determining a base station beam direction having the maximum energy and an angle deviation of the base station beam direction based on the preamble sequence; adjusting the base station beams according to the base station beam direction having the maximumenergy and the angle deviation of the base station beam direction; and sending and receiving data with the user equipment through the adjusted base station beams. According to the initial access andrandom access method based on multiple antenna ports and multiple beams provided by the invention, initial access data are sent to the user equipment on the at least two base station beams with correlation in an initial access process, therefore the optimal beam direction of the base station side can be determined more quickly, and meanwhile the conflict probability is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of mobile communication, in particular, the present invention relates to a method for initial access and random access based on multiple antenna ports and multiple beams, base station equipment and user equipment. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of the information industry, especially the growing demand from the mobile Internet and the Internet of Things (IoT, internet of things), it brings unprecedented challenges to future mobile communication technologies. For example, according to the report ITU-R M.[IMT.BEYOND 2020.TRAFFIC] of the International Telecommunication Union ITU, it can be predicted that by 2020, the growth of mobile traffic will increase by nearly 1,000 times compared to 2010 (4G era). UE (User Equipment, The number of user equipment) connections will also exceed 17 billion. As massive IoT devices gradually penetrate into mobile communication networks, the number of con...
