Problems solved by technology

However, this solution does not distinguish between the server performance of the cache node and the publisher node, resulting in the fact that the interest packet does not choose the nearest cache node route, and the request delay of the content is large; at the same time, CATT sends all the cached content to the surrounding nodes with the same number of hops Advertised, resulting in huge bandwidth overhead

Embodiment Construction

[0055] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0056] In the CCN routing mechanism, when the publisher generates a new content, it will notify the nodes of the whole network by flooding, and the interest packet searches for an optimal path to the publisher based on the Forwarding Information Base (FIB). For each router, the FIB only includes the next-hop port to the content publisher node, but does not include the next-hop port to the nearest cache node. Due to the inability to perceive a large number of cache resources in the network, the average request delay of the traditional CCN routing mechanism is relatively large. Based on the potential energy concept proposed by scholars such as Suyong Eum, the present invention redesigns a cache-aware edge node enhanced routing mechanism. Under this model, the publisher or cache object is regarded as a negative point charge, and the interest ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a content centric networking edge node potential enhanced routing method and belongs to the field of the Internet. For the problem that the routing efficiency is low due to the fact that a content centric networking cannot sense cache content, the ENPER (Edge Node Potential-enhanced Routing) based on potential is provided. A potential model of nodes is established and through enhancement of the potential of edge nodes, interest packets are attracted to nearby cache nodes for response, so the forwarding time of the interest packets is reduced and a cache hit rate is improved. According to the ENPER, statistics and prediction are carried out on the popularity of content through the edge nodes, and through combination of a size of the networking, potential notification ranges of the content with different popularity are distinguished, thereby reducing the network overhead. According to the method, the load and cache notification overhead of an issuer server are effectively reduced, and compared with Best-routing, the ENPER has the advantage that the average request time delay of the content is reduced by 43%.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of the Internet, and relates to a routing method for enhancing potential energy of edge nodes of a content-centric network. Background technique [0002] According to the forecast report of CiscoVNI, the traffic generated by video applications will account for about 82% of the total network traffic in 2021. The demand for mass replication and dissemination of video content has brought the popularity and commercial use of Content Delivery Networking (CDN) and peer-to-peer network (EertoPeer, P2P). Both of them increase the speed of user access to content, but CDN forwards user requests to the edge server of the network through DNS redirection, and its content storage location is limited; P2P generates a tracker for each content, and its delivery effectiveness Low. Since neither of them can get rid of the IP address-based end-to-end forwarding mode, security incidents such as DDoS attacks have been caused. Therefore,...
