The method includes the following steps: S1, establishing a watermark pre-detection model; S2, establishing a watermark re-identification model; and S3, combining the watermark pre-detection model and the watermark re-identification model to realize automatic detection of an image watermark. According to the method, a detectedcandidate watermark region is re-identified, the candidate watermark region is re-identified through manually designing features of the watermark and training the binary model specifically judging whether the watermark exists, false detection of a watermark detector, which is based on a deep convolutional neural network, on of patterns which are similar to the watermark is reduced, and an accuracyrate of watermark detection is increased.
