Abstract

The method and the device are used for ensuring continuity of local service, and a service interruption problem of UE is prevented from occurring in an inter-base station switching process. The method comprises the steps that in a process that the UE is switched from a source base station to a target base station, the target base station obtains IP address information of the UE and determines local service servers accessed by the UE; and when it is determined that a preset condition is satisfied, the target base station establishes free ARP messages according to the IP address information of the UE and broadcasts the free ARP messages to the local service servers.
