When the machine goes upstairs, the motor rotates forwards to drive the installing racks to perform rotary motion clockwise such that the stair-climbing wheels stay on the upper stair. The installing racks continue to rotate in order to support the stair-climbing machine. After the stair-climbing machine is put on the upper stair, the installing racks continue to perform rotary motion in order to go upstairs. When the machine goes downstairs, the motor rotates reversely and the installing racks perform anticlockwise rotary motion such that the stair-climbing wheels are supported on the current stair.
