Abstract

The invention provides a water logging-preventing shielding device and method for an inlet and outlet of an urban traffic culvert or tunnel. The shielding device comprises a traction system, a left expansion bracket, a right expansion bracket, a left guide rail, a right guide rail, an arch-shaped supporting rack and a water-isolating covering layer. The left guide rail and the right guide rail are symmetrically paved on a slope of the inlet of the culvert or the tunnel and extend to the top of the slope; the left expansion bracket and the right expansion bracket are symmetrically arranged on two sides of the inlet and outlet of the culvert or tunnel, one of the sides is fixed on a wall body of the culvert or tunnel, and the water-isolating covering layer externally sleeves the left expansion bracket, the right expansion bracket and the arch-shaped supporting rack. The device receives a command to brake through the traction motor to pull the expansion brackets to be unfolded along the guide rails. The supporting system is successively and fully unfolded to support the water-isolating covering layer to form a water-isolating channel at the inlet and outlet of the culvert or tunnel.
