The efficient medical soda lime is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80 to 85 parts of calcium hydroxide, 0.5 to 5 parts of calcium sulfate hemihydrate, 0.1 to 1 part of a moisture absorbent, 0.1 to 5 parts of a rigidity regulator, 1 to 5 parts of a de-foaming agent, 0.05 to 1 part of a pH (Potential of Hydrogen) indication dyeing agent and 12 to 19 parts of water.
