Abstract

The invention provides a self-adaptive cruising device used for an electric vehicle. The self-adaptive cruising device comprises a self-adaptive cruising controller, a vehicle speed sensor, a gyroscope, a crosswind detector and a controller, wherein the self-adaptive cruising controller is used for setting vehicle cruising speed according to an operation instruction of a driver; the controller is used for controlling torque output of a motor of the electric vehicle according to the set vehicle cruising speed; the gyroscope is used for detecting jitter amplitude in the vertical direction of the vehicle in real time; the crosswind detector is used for detecting size of crosswind force of the position at which the vehicle is located in real time; the self-adaptive cruising controller further responds to data information of the gyroscope and the crosswind detector to regulate the cruising speed in a self-adaptive mode and sends a response signal to the controller; and the controller is further set to regulate torque output of the motor of the electric vehicle according to the response signal of a regulating part. The self-adaptive cruising device can be used for timely and accurately judging a current road condition, regulating vehicle speed according to the road condition information, and ensures the electric vehicle to safely and stably travel.
