Embodiment Construction

[0021] Examples will now be described more fully below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which certain embodiments are shown. However, other embodiments in many different forms are also possible within the scope of this disclosure. Rather, the following embodiments are provided by way of examples so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the present disclosure to those skilled in the art. Similar numbers refer to similar elements throughout this description.

[0022] The bushing of the present invention can be used in a transformer, for example, a power transformer as exemplified herein, but the bushing of the present invention can be used instead in other electrical devices, especially electrical devices filled with fluid (e.g., oil), such as motors Or switch.

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an electrical bushing (1) comprising an electrically insulating sleeve (2) having a central longitudinal through hole (4) surrounding a central longitudinal axis (5) of the bushing and a central longitudinal bore positioned through the sleeve. The electrical conductor (3) through the hole (4). The conductor comprises a longitudinal outer tube and a longitudinal inner tube (3b) located concentrically within the outer tube (3a) such that a tubular space is formed between the outer tube and the inner tube. A first end of the tubular space is delimited by a tube spacer (10) between the outer tube and the inner tube, and the second end of the tubular space is capped to form a closed tubular space. The closed tubular space contains a heat transfer fluid thereby forming a heat pipe (6) between the outer and inner tubes of conductors. The outer tube extends longitudinally beyond the heat pipe bounded by the tube spacer at a first end of the tubular space, and the inner tube has at said first end a fluid passable from between the outer tube and the inner tube into the inner tube. In the central longitudinal space (9) in the design without passing longitudinally beyond the extension of the outer tube.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to electrical bushings including heat pipes. Background technique [0002] A bushing is a hollow electrical insulator through which a conductor can pass. Use bushings where high-voltage lines on switch cabinets, transformers, circuit breakers, and other high-voltage equipment must pass through walls or other surfaces. The bushing is used, for example, to pass a high-voltage line from an oil-filled transformer, whereby the bushing is an oil-to-air bushing having a part in the oil in the transformer and a part in the air outside the transformer. Other bushings are, for example, air-to-air bushings that pass high voltage lines through the wall. [0003] The resistance heat loss in the bushing occurs uniformly along the conductor. The heat is dissipated into the environment mainly at the upper and lower ends of the casing. Heat is transferred from the central part to the ends by conduction and sometimes by convection.
