Problems solved by technology

[0006] During the formation of sample ions, if the ion clusters cannot be vaporized and separated sufficiently, the ionization efficiency of the sample will be reduced
In many commercial instruments, the sensitivity is improved by heating the auxiliary gas or wrapping a heating tape outside the ion transmission device. Although these methods can improve the sensitivity of the ion source to varying degrees, they are either too complicated or greatly increase the instrument’s sensitivity. The volume is not conducive to the miniaturization research of mass spectrometry instruments

[0114] Using Electrospray Ionization Sources for Electrospray Extraction Ionization Sources

[0115] Electrospray extraction ionization (EESI) is a new type of atmospheric pressure open ion source developed on the basis of electrospray ionization source (ESI) and desorption electrospray ionization source (DESI). The EESI source is mainly composed of an electrospray channel and a sample introduction channel. The primary charged droplets ejected from the electrospray channel collide with the sample droplets ejected from the sample channel in the ion source space, and the analyte in the sample is extracted into the charged droplets, and then the desolvation process is completed to obtain the The ions of the analyte are used for subsequent mass spectrometry detection.

Abstract

The invention provides an electrospray ionization source device for mass spectrometers. The electrospray ionization source device comprises an injector, a metal capillary tube, an insulating material capillary tube and a high-voltage power supply, wherein one end of the metal capillary tube is connected with an outlet of the injector; one end of the insulating material capillary tube is connected with the other end of the metal capillary tube; and a positive electrode or a negative electrode of the high-voltage power supply is in contact with the metal capillary tube. The electrospray ionization source device is simple, limits the size of a taylor cone by adopting the capillary tubes, controls the volume of a liquid drop and generates stable spray from the perspective of an electrospray nozzle on the premise that an electrospray ionization source does not have a heating device, thereby effectively carrying out a desolvation process, improving the electrospray efficiency and lowering the detection limit of an instrument. The electrospray ionization source device for the mass spectrometers is simple in structure and relatively high in sensitivity, and can be seamlessly connected with various types of mass spectrometers.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of mass spectrometer systems, in particular to an electrospray ionization source device and system for mass spectrometers, and in particular to an electrospray ionization source device and system for atmospheric pressure interface mass spectrometers. Background technique [0002] Mass spectrometry is currently known as one of the most sensitive and widely used analytical instruments, and is widely used in many fields such as chemistry, environment, food, and life sciences. A complete set of mass spectrometer usually consists of ionization source, mass analyzer, detector, vacuum system, electrical system and other parts, among which the most basic structural units are ionization source and mass analyzer. The progress of the mass spectrometer is essentially the progress of these two basic structural units. The research object of the mass analyzer is mainly ions, and finally the information of the mass-to-charg...
