Abstract

The invention discloses a digestion promoting composition, which comprises the following raw materials by weight: 20-40 parts of hawthorn, 5-20 parts of chicken's gizzard-membrane, 10-30 parts of fried malt, 10-35 parts of kudzuvine root, 10-40 parts of Chinese yam, 10-40 parts of dried tangerine peel, and 10-40 parts of fructus aurantii immaturus. The preparation method of the digestion promoting composition includes the steps of: (1) weighing, net selection, and uniform mixing; (2) extraction; (3) filtration; (4) concentration into a paste, and preparation of the paste, volatile oil and excipients into various dosage forms; (5) sterilization; and (6) packaging. The composition provided by the invention takes stomach invigorating and digestion promoting hawthorn and qi circulation promoting and appetite promoting malt as the main drugs, is supplemented by chicken's gizzard-membrane for promoting gastric secretion, kudzuvine root for developing the elevating yang qi of the spleen and stomach, and Chinese yam for strengthening the digestive absorption of spleen and stomach, and is assisted with dried tangerine peel and fructus aurantii immaturus for regulating qi and middle energizer, removing food retention and removing stagnancy.
