A video processing device and method capable of enhancing security of content included in a video are provided. The video processing device comprises: a loading unit for loading an original video; an encoding unit for encoding the loaded original video so as to generate an encoded video including a header and a payload; and a security information insertion unit which inserts security information including information on the right to reproduce the video into the header or the payload.
