The heat pump system comprises a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, a first throttling device and an indoor heat exchanger. The compressor, the outdoor heat exchanger, the first throttling device and the indoor heat exchanger form a refrigerant circulation system. The heat pump system further comprises a bypass pipeline, the two ends of the bypass pipeline are connected with an inlet and an outlet of the compressor separately, and the bypass pipeline is provided with a first switch device used for opening and closing the bypass pipeline. According to the refrigerant circulation system, balance between high pressure and low pressure can be guaranteed before the compressor is started again, and normal starting power is ensured.
