Embodiment 1

[0020] (1) ZrGeO 4 preparation of

[0021] Take 20mmol of ZrOCl 2 Dissolve in 100ml deionized water, then add 20mmol GeO 2 , and stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. The resulting mixture was transferred into a 150 mL autoclave, and after standing at 220° C. for 24 h, it was naturally cooled to room temperature. The obtained precipitate was washed three times with deionized water (50 mL of deionized water each time), centrifuged and dried in an oven at a temperature of 60° C. for 24 h. Finally, the resulting solid was burned at 900°C for 2 hours to obtain ZrGeO 4 sample.

Abstract

The invention discloses application of ZrGeO4, and provides an application example of the ZrGeO4 for the first time. The ZrGeO4 is used as a catalyst; even under the room temperature condition of completely keeping away light, organic dye contaminants such as RhB (rhodamine B) and MB (methylene blue) can also be degraded. In the degradation experiments, the ZrGeO4 is repeatedly used for three times; the activity is not lowered; after the ZrGeO4 is continuously and repeatedly used for many times, activity can also be well maintained; the activity is not obviously lowered. The ZrGeO4 does not depend on illumination; the organic dye can be catalytically degraded under the room temperature condition; the durability is high; the popularization and the application are facilitated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of environmental pollution control and relates to zirconium germanate (ZrGeO 4 ) as a novel catalyst in the degradation of organic dye pollutants. Background technique [0002] With the increase of population, the scale of the printing and dyeing industry in the world is constantly expanding. The large amount of organic dye pollutants discharged by this industry has become an important source of water pollution in the world. Semiconductor photocatalysis technology can directly use sunlight to efficiently oxidize and degrade dye pollutants at room temperature. Therefore, it is a favorable way to control environmental pollution by making full use of sunlight to degrade dye pollutants through photocatalytic technology. Because ultraviolet light only accounts for about 4% of the total energy of sunlight, while visible light accounts for about 46%, so the key to utilizing solar energy is to utilize the visible ...
