The method for detecting the engineering covering power of the coating takes film thickness control of the on-site coating construction as reference, experimental evaluation is carried out by referring to a variation range of the film thickness in the on-site coating, the engineering covering power of the coating is judged by virtue of visual and colorimeter data, and construction performance condition of the coating in the on-site coating can be evaluated more directly and accurately.
