The method comprises the steps of controlling a compressor of the refrigeration cabinet to operate at the refrigeration frequency according to the temperature in the refrigeration cabinet and the set temperature, and starting the refrigeration mode; under the refrigeration mode, if it is judged that the humidity in the cabinet is lower than the first preset value, reducing the operation frequency of the compressor within the operation frequency range of the compressor, and starting the frequency-decreasing humidity control mode so as to improve the humidity in the cabinet; and before the compressor enters the frequency-reducing humidity control mode, if it is judged that the humidity in the cabinet is higher than the second preset value, improving the operation frequency of the compressor within the operation frequency range of the compressor, and starting the frequency-increasing dehumidification mode so as to reduce the humidity in the cabinet.
