Embodiment approach 1

[0035] like figure 1 As shown, the blood analysis device 100 includes a measurement unit 10 and an information processing unit 20 . The measurement unit 10 includes a measurement control unit 11 , a storage unit 12 , a sample preparation unit 13 , an optical detection unit 14 , a resistive detection unit 15 and a signal processing circuit 16 . The information processing part 20 includes: a processing part 21 , a storage part 22 , a display part 23 and an input part 24 .

[0036] The measurement control unit 11 is, for example, a CPU. The measurement control unit 11 receives signals output from each unit of the measurement unit 10 and controls each unit of the measurement unit 10 . The measurement control unit 11 communicates with the information processing unit 20 . The storage section 12 is a ROM, RAM, hard disk, and the like. The measurement control unit 11 performs processing according to the program stored in the storage unit 12 .

[0037] The sample preparation part ...

Embodiment approach 2

[0103] like Figure 9 As shown in (a), in Embodiment 2, compared with Embodiment 1, the sample preparation unit 13 is connected to the container containing the fluorescently-labeled antibody reagent 116 . The fluorescently labeled antibody reagent 116 is used to label surface antigens of blood cells in the same way as the fluorescently labeled antibody reagent 113 . The fluorescently labeled antibody reagent 116 contains a fluorescent dye that emits fluorescence at a wavelength different from that of the fluorescently labeled antibody reagent 113 when excited by light emitted from the light source unit 221 , and an antibody that binds to an antigen on the surface of blood cells. The antibody contained in the fluorescent-labeled antibody reagent 116 of Embodiment 2 is an antibody that binds to the CD8 antigen. Therefore, in Embodiment 2, the CD8 antigen expressed on the surface of CD8-positive T cells is labeled with the fluorescently labeled antibody reagent 116 .

Abstract

A sample preparation part 13 mixes a hemolytic agent 112 dissolving red blood cells and the fluorescently labeled antibody reagent 113 labeled with the CD4 antigen expressed on the surfaces of CD4-positive T cells in a blood sample 101 to prepare a first measurement sample. A light source unit 221 irradiates the first measurement sample flowing in a flow cell 211 with light. Light-receiving members 231, 243, 252 receive first scattered light, second scattered light, and first fluorescent light obtained from the blood cells in the first measurement sample, respectively, under illumination. A processing unit 21 classifies and counts lymphocytes in the first measurement sample using first scattered light information and second scattered light information, and classifies and counts the CD4 positive T cells in the first measurement sample with the first fluorescence information.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a blood analysis device and a blood analysis method for counting blood cells in a blood sample. Background technique [0002] Analyzing the status of cell surface antigens contained in blood samples is effective for disease diagnosis. For example, in subjects infected with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), the number of CD4-positive T cells in the blood decreases as the disease progresses. HIV infection and disease progression can be diagnosed based on the number of CD4 positive T cells in the blood sample. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-91513 describes a method using a first fluorescently-labeled antibody that recognizes leukocytes, a second fluorescently-labeled antibody that recognizes an antigen that changes with the maturation stage of neutrophil-like cells, and a third fluorescently-labeled antibody that recognizes an antigen that varies with the maturation stage of immature granulocyte-like cells, cla...
