[0020] Sample and Data Collection

[0021]This study was performed after approval from the local ethics review board. All subjects included in the study signed the informed consent. A total of 345 subjects’ morning urine were collected, and the mean value of urine samples was stored at -20°C within 30 minutes after collection until analysis. In the training group, the urine samples of 85 bladder cancer patients were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from November 25, 2013 to October 28, 2014. The 50 control subjects consisted of 6 patients with kidney stones, 5 patients with benign bladder tumors, 7 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, 7 patients with hematuria, 6 patients with urinary tract infection and 19 healthy volunteers. 5 patients with benign bladder tumors underwent transurethral resection of bladder tumors, and 7 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia underwent transurethral resection o...

Abstract

The invention discloses molecular markers for non-invasive diagnosis of bladder cancer. Based on previous research basis, the inventor detects the protein expression level of AIB1 and EIF5A2 in urine of bladder cancer patients and non-bladder cancer population, and finds that AIB1 and EIF5A2 can serve as new tumor markers for non-invasive diagnosis of bladder cancer, and through combination of AIB1, EIF5A2 and NMP22, the diagnosis accuracy of bladder cancer can further be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to molecular markers for tumor diagnosis, in particular to molecular markers for non-invasive diagnosis of bladder cancer. Background technique [0002] Globally, nearly 900,000 people are diagnosed with bladder cancer each year, and approximately 250,000 people die from bladder cancer each year [1]. [0003] In my country, bladder cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the urinary system, and bladder cancer can be divided into non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (T a / T 1 stage) and muscle invasive bladder cancer (T 2 -T 4 Expect). Patients with early bladder cancer can undergo transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TransurethralResectionofBladderTumorTURBT), while patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer need to undergo total cystectomy and urinary diversion, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients after surgery, and the 5-year survival rate after surgery Only 23%-46%[2]. Therefore, earl...
