The method includes the steps of: embedding audio frequency watermarks at intervals in a process that a center terminal performs audio frequency coding on a program; in the program broadcast process, identifying and extracting the audio frequency watermarks in the program through an interaction event by a terminal, and generating interaction information; sending the interaction information with the audio frequency watermarks to the center terminal by the terminal; extracting the audio frequency watermarks in the interaction information by the center terminal, and identifying a current interaction event of the terminal through comparison of the audio frequency watermarks. The system includes the center terminal and the terminal. The center terminal includes a watermark generation module for adding the audio frequency watermarks and an explanation module for comparing the audio frequency watermarks and identifying the current interaction event of the terminal. The terminal includes an identification module for identifying and extracting the audio frequency watermarks through the interaction event and generating the interaction information.
