The method comprises: backing up storage data in a master NameNode to a slave NameNode in a preset data backup manner in order to complete the data synchronous storage process; detecting whether the master NameNode stops providing data services by the slave NameNode; and determining whether the virtual IP address connected with the master NameNode is to be switched and connected to the slave NameNode in accordance with the detection result.
