Embodiment Construction

[0029] Below in conjunction with accompanying drawing, the present invention will be further described:

[0030] The wireless local area network architecture based on the software-defined network proposed by the present invention is shown in the attached figure 1 As shown, it consists of physical layer devices, OpenFlow protocol, controller and various application modules. Next, the system architecture will be introduced in detail.

[0031]1. The physical layer transforms the traditional access points. The access points in the network all use the OpenWrt operating system and install OpenvSwitch to support the OpenFlow protocol. The wireless network cards of the access point all work in the monitor mode, and in this mode the access point can detect all 802.11 frame signals. In addition, the AP needs to extract the received frames. On the one hand, it extracts parameters such as terminal signal strength. This information is the basis for the deployment of the controller strateg...

Abstract

The present invention claims a wireless local area network architecture based on a software-defined network technology, and proposes a switching strategy for improving the utilization rate of network resources and solving the problem of load imbalance of the network. The global view and centralized management and control capabilities of an architecture controller of the software-defined network are utilized; each access point in the network is monitored in real time through an improved OpenFlow protocol; the state information of the access points is analyzed; the access point with the optimal performance is found for a terminal; and the controller transmits a management message to complete the switching. Hardware platform and simulation platform experiments are performed; and the results show that the solution effectively balances the load between the access points, and improves network throughput.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a wireless local area network networking architecture based on a software-defined network, in particular to the design of a wireless local area network load balancing switching strategy. Background technique [0002] Wireless LAN is widely used in various occasions such as airports, schools, and offices due to its flexibility, high efficiency, and easy expansion, for wireless terminal devices to access and access network resources. Wireless LAN is an important part of today's network communication technology. With the rapid development of society, the types and quantities of wireless terminal products increase rapidly, network services become more and more diversified, and people's demand for wireless resources is also increasing. The traditional network architecture has exposed more and more problems, such as complex network management and low utilization of network resources. It is urgent to change the traditional wireless LA...
