Abstract

The invention relates to a structure for repairing an underwater support by using a carbon fiber reinforced composite and a construction method thereof. The structure comprises a cofferdam box, a multi-layer double-way carbon fiber reinforced composite, a water rapid-hardening cement base material, an epoxy resin, a pile to be repaired and a column body. The construction method comprises the following steps of first draining river water around the pile to be repaired from shallow to deep by using the cofferdam box; removing open water on the surface of the cofferdam box; grinding broken edges of the cofferdam box by using a grinding machine after scraping foreign matters on the surface of the cofferdam box; filling in the ground broken edges of the cofferdam box by using the water rapid-hardening cement base material and the epoxy resin; and coating the carbon fiber reinforced composite on the cofferdam box. According to the repairing method, as the whole structure is maintained and reinforced, the repairing method has the advantages of better durability, lighter weight, higher strength and stronger corrosion resistance when being compared with the traditional patch type repairing; due to a fiber woven form, the structure obtains unprecedented flexibility; and through guiding fiber woven direction and angle, the strength of the design direction is arbitrarily controlled. The structure for repairing the underwater support by using the carbon fiber reinforced composite and the construction method thereof, provided by the invention, have huge advantages in repairing the piles and underwater corrosion damages of the column body.
