Abstract

The invention relates to a blue light-blocking acrylic adhesive, which is characterized in that a certain amount of a filtering blue light dye is added in an acrylic adhesive to filter blue light having a certain wavelength, wherein the acrylic adhesive is one or more of a water solvable pressure-sensitive adhesive, an emulsion type pressure sensitive adhesive, a solvent pressure sensitive adhesive and a non-solvent pressure sensitive adhesive. The blue light-blocking acrylic adhesive and the film prepared from the blue light-blocking acrylic adhesive have the following beneficial effects that 1) structure is simple, and production is easy; and 2) high-energy shortwave blue-light can be effectively blocked. By changing the optical characteristics of the acrylic adhesive, the characteristics of the acrylic adhesive can be kept, and effective blocking of high-strength blue light which is harm to eyes can be realized. The film can be used for bonding module components of a liquid crystal display, and also can be used for producing various protection films, explosion-proof membranes, non-substrate optical cement (OCA), liquid crystal displays, and products relative to LED light sources.
