The invention discloses a device and method for correcting a bidirectional time frequency transmission system of a satellite, and the device comprises a control correction unit which enables a 70MHz intermediate-frequency signal from the bidirectional time frequency transmission system of the satellite to be transmitted to a signal processing unit or enables a 70MHz intermediate-frequency signal from the signal processing unit to be transmitted to the bidirectional time frequency transmission system of the satellite; and the signal processing unit which enables the 70MHz intermediate-frequency signal from the control correction unit to be converted into a Ku-band signal or enables a Ku-band signal from an antenna feeder unit to be converted into the 70MHz intermediate-frequency signal. The antenna feeder unit achieves the bidirectional transmission of a wireless signal with a satellite antenna of the bidirectional time frequency transmission system. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the device and method solve a problem of a synchronization error caused by the difference of transmission time delay of a receiving channel and a transmitting channel in a bidirectional time frequency transmission device of the satellite.
