The drip irrigation system comprises desalination equipment, drip irrigation equipment and a control cabinet. Clean water in a clean water pond of the desalination equipment is extracted by a water pump and filtered to be conveyed into a main pipe and then to all branch pipes and dripped out of drip emitters for irrigating plants. The control cabinet is connected with a first-stage infrared module in an infrared communication mode. The first-stage infrared module is electrically connected with a first-stage valve which is arranged at a water outlet end of the water pump. The first-stage infrared module is connected with multiple second-stage infrared modules in an infrared communication mode. All the infrared communication modules are in a one-to-one correspondence with all the branch pipes and electrically connected with second-stage valves of all the branch pipes. The second-stage infrared modules can shut down or open up the second-stage valves.All the branch pipes are provided with third-stage infrared emitters in a one-to-one correspondence with the drip emitters. The third-stage infrared emitters are electrically connected with humidity sensors of soil for the drip emitters.
