Abstract

The invention relates to an endophytic fungus for promoting root growth of aleurites montana in a low-phosphorous environment. The endophytic fungus is penicillium sp. ZG3 and has been registered and preserved in the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) on January 30th, 2015. The preservation number is CGMCC No. 10467. According to the invention, the endophytic fungus ZG3 of aleurites montana is inoculated to land culture seedling of aleurites montana. By measurement of plant dry weight and SOD activity, root cap ratio and SOD activity of a plant inoculated with the strain are higher than those of a contrast to a greater degree. It shows that the strain has a great function of promoting root growth of a plant and resisting a low-phosphorous environment. Thus, it is further confirmed that the endophytic fungus can promote root growth of aleurites montana in a low-phosphorous environment.
