Embodiment 1

[0159] There are light and heavy mineral test data of 51 wells in the A section of a certain sag, and the distribution positions of the wells are listed in figure 1 shown. Now in order to determine the distribution of matter sources in the depression and its influence range. According to the above method, the following analysis is carried out:

[0160] 1. Data screening and sorting

[0161] According to the sandstone thickness map and well location distribution of A section in a certain sag, it can be seen that wells W63 and W65 are located in the area where the sand-to-ground ratio is less than 0.3. Therefore, in the process of clustering, the remaining 47 wells were regarded as one Classes, and then use Bayesian criterion to perform Q-type clustering on the samples.

[0162] 2. Light and heavy data classification and normalization processing

[0163] 1) According to the light ore test results, the detrital quartz, detrital feldspar and clastic rock blocks are normalized:...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method of quantitatively analyzing sources by aid of light and heavy minerals and belongs to the technical field of geochemical exploration. The method includes the following steps: 1) screening and sorting data; 2) conducting data classification unitary processing on light and heavy minerals; 3) conducting mineral association and classification on light and heavy mineral samples close to the original source area, determining the quantity of sources and building discrimination formulas of all source areas; 4) discriminating categories of samples away from the original source area and in newly drilled wells, conducting polarity significance testing and misjudgment rate evaluation on the discrimination formulas, and determining effectiveness of the discrimination formulas; 5) quantitatively analyzing stability index variation relations of light and heavy minerals to determine source direction. The method has the advantages of considering complete factors, being simple to operate and being consistent with the actual situation, can effectively guide research of regularity of sand body distribution and provides technical support for oil gas exploration and development.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of geochemical prospecting and mineral oil and gas resource prospecting. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for quantitative analysis of a substance source using light and heavy minerals. Background technique [0002] In the process of continental sediment research, provenance analysis is of great significance for paleogeographic reconstruction, paleoenvironment and paleoclimate restoration, sedimentary basin analysis, and oil and gas exploration and development. Early studies have shown that light and heavy minerals have important guiding significance for provenance system analysis, but most of them are limited to qualitative description or partial quantitative analysis. Contents of the invention [0003] In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problems existing in the prior art, the present invention aims to quantitatively describe the combination characteristics of lig...
