The method comprises the following steps of establishing a communication connection with an Android phone; receiving a mobile phone application pushed by the Android phone; judging compatibility of the mobile phone application and an IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) set-top box, if the mobile phone application and the IPTV set-top box are not compatible, downloading the same compatible application from a network side; receiving control information pushed by the Android phone and running the mobile phone application pushed by the Android phone or the same compatible application on the IPTV set-top box according to the control information; and responding the operation of a user for the mobile phone application running on the Android phone, receiving a dynamic data file generated by user operation, and running the dynamic data file to keep the application which is subjected to unified operation of the IPTV set-top box and the mobile phone synchronous.
